The Conflict Clinic
Building the capacity to navigate conflict and resistance.
Too much conflict comes from things that should never have become conflicts at all. The rest comes from somewhere real: values, structure, history, expectations. This program teaches you to tell the difference, to find the door the conflict came through, and to decide which conflicts are yours to carry.
The program, in the method
Six modules, one for each step.
Examine — The H.E.A.R.T. Exam. Your posture going in, read five ways. Plus a situational reading of the conflict in front of you.
Diagnose — Conflict, Diagnosed. The Doors of Conflict: the causes, types, and kinds of conflict, and how to tell which one you are in before you act.
Prescribe — The Bigger Picture. Expectations, the psychological contract, and the discipline of looking past the small issue to what matters.
Treat — Navigating Resistance. What to say, what not to say, and when to say nothing. Original phrases, practiced in scenarios, not just read.
Follow Up — Your Conflicts to Carry. The stewardship test: which conflicts are yours, which are not, and how to set them down.
Maintain — Operating on a Different Plane. Keeping the posture when the next conflict arrives, because it will.
